How to make roses, owls and wood from paper napkins with your own hands

Let's make a rose

Probably no nobler flower than a rose. Therefore, today we will try to make it yourself from ordinary paper napkins. The proposed master class is illustrated step by step in order to maximize the transfer of the flower making technique.

NapkinsThe first step will be to take a napkin from which the rose will be created and cut it into four pieces.

A green napkin will be used for making leaves. This will require cutting it into small long stripes up to 1.5 cm long. You will also need to cut not very large rectangles measuring 6 by 4 cm. After that, you need to start twisting one edge of the piece of napkin in such a way as to give it the shape of a real petal.

However, it is important to ensure that the corners twist freely, without applying extra effort.
Take a look now at the photo in which the process is shown more clearly.

Rolled napkinNow, for our crafts, the petals are already fully prepared. At this stage, you will need to take some of the napkin, it will be intended for the bud itself, and cut it into four parts.

One received small square rolls into a ball and fastens on a previously prepared wire.

Next, it is necessary to “wrap” one of the remaining squares on the ball, so that a peculiar doll will turn out.

In order for it not to be unwound, you need to secure the tip of this napkin with a drop of glue. It is very important to ensure that this napkin is not soaked with glue.

Green striped on the wireThe next step in creating our crafts will be to create a green stalk of a plant. To do this, take a green striped and fasten it on the wire-stalk, as shown in the photo.

When the stem of the rose is ready, we create the first petal around the core (white ball). The second one is wound in the same way, and everything is fixed with the help of a small drop of glue, as before. As a result, you need to fix all three petals.

Probably, this step will be difficult for children, so it’s better to help them and do it yourself.

After completing the work on the rose bud, our master class will tell you how to make thorns for it from the same paper napkins. To do this, take pre-cooked rectangles, and twist them into thin tubes, as the photo demonstrates.

Rose from napkinsThen, twisting the tips of our pieces of napkins, we make leaves on the stalk, then we fasten them with ordinary glue. Also carefully fasten and pre-cooked four spikes. In the end, you should have such a flower.

The master-class on creating roses offered to you is not the most difficult and provides an opportunity to master the simplest skills that will allow you to create more complex crafts from paper napkins in the future.

Despite the fact that beautiful roses have always been highly valued, having mastered the proposed technique of creation, you can create a beautiful bouquet of unfading flowers and give them to your loved one.

Roses on the holiday table

Cloth napkinIt is not uncommon for guests to come from minute to minute, and the table has not yet been decorated.In this case, the master-class given below will help you to get out of the situation, who will teach you how to make excellent roses out of rag napkins.

Now let's consider step by step the whole process of creating such a wonderful and useful crafts. To create it we need:

  • beautiful glass;
  • green color napkin;
  • red or pink cloth napkin.

Folded napkinHaving prepared the necessary material, proceed to the creation of a masterpiece. For this napkin pink fold a triangle.

Then, turn it in such a way as shown in the attached photo.

Now you need to twist the napkin on either of two sides. In the twisting process, it is imperative to make a small navel represented in the photo.

Twisted napkinWhen the bud of the rose created will be almost completed (twisted), you will need to put most of it (tail) on the lower side of the craft and tuck it in (fix) a little.

Now it's time to do a green napkin, folding it as follows.

In the end, it is thrust into the glass, and this is done in such a way as to create a kind of green leaves.

Napkin in a glassAt the final stage, our previously created bud, which looks luxuriously between the green “leaves”, is inserted into the glass and the green napkin.

Palm owlIt is not interesting to make roses out of fabric napkins for children, it is better to make an ordinary owl with napkins with your own hands, this is an occupation for them. So, we offer you another master class.

In order for the owl to turn out to be alive, you will need the following materials:

  • white ordinary napkin;
  • the napkin is ordinary yellow;
  • red napkin;
  • pencil;
  • PVA glue with a brush;
  • scissors;
  • white colored cardboard.

For the owl, the base will be two circles, cut out of white cardboard and glued together in a small area with an overlap, but the basis for the wings will be a circle, which is cut in half.

To make the bird more lush, you need to “do not feel sorry for the hands” and cut as many circled palms from white napkins as possible.Each such palm will be a tail and owl wings. All of them are glued to a pre-prepared cardboard base.

For children, making a owl with your own hands will be a great pastime. So, the drawn and cut-out palms are pasted on top of each other with a slight offset in order to create the illusion of the presence of many feathers. After completing the main details, cut out two yellow palms and make one of them. Lastly, we create a bird eyebrow, beak and eyes, but so that the owl is as beautiful as possible.

Hello tree!

Tree of napkinsToday, many exclusive masterpieces are born from ordinary napkins. Of these, you can create an amazing tree, but not just a tree, but a tree of well-being and happiness.

All the main work will be in the selection of napkins desired colors. No less important is their quality, on which the aesthetics of the finished product depends. We recommend using multi-layered napkins that can give your tree splendor.

We are preparing the necessary material and call the children to join:

  • for leaves - green napkins;
  • for buds - the desired color;
  • glue stick (for convenience);
  • rope rope;
  • scissors.

Green stripesThe length of the green napkin is cut into strips 5 cm wide. Every 3 cm. On each side we make cuts, which then need to be twisted according to the attached photo.

We tear off the pink napkin with our hands with a strip for flowers from 7 to 8 cm wide. Then we twist and form a tube.

To achieve the desired splendor created by the bud, twist several strips in layers. So the tree will be more beautiful.

The edges of the resulting twist gently twist (open) and form the flower petals.Rose on the wireThe base of the bud must be constantly held and eventually fixed twisting.

Ready leaves grease at the base with glue and fasten to the base of the bud. They will decorate our tree later.

We cut off 30 cm from the rope-cord and fix one edge at the base of the flower, and wrap the other edge with a green napkin.

The number of flowers is made as needed. Everything will depend on the pomp of crafts, its size or the desire of children. The result should be a beautiful tree.
